Indický dal z červené čočky

Tradiční indické jídlo z luštěnin. V indii se toto jídlo vaří v každé domácnosti jinak. Připravila jsem jednu verzi tohoto pokrmu. 

Ingredience pro 4 osoby:

pasta:

  • 2 stroužky česneku nakrájené na plátky
  • 4 cm čerstvého zázvoru nakrájeného na plátky
  • 1 lžička kurkumy
  • 1 lžička koření garam masala (směs indického koření)
  • 1 lžíce kari (curry powder masala special)
  • 1 chilli paprička
  • 1 lžička mletého římského kmínu
  • 1 lžíce oleje

  • 1 hrnek červené čočky
  • 2 malé cibule nakrájené na drobno
  • 1 lžíce oleje
  • 2 mrkve nakrájené na kolečka
  • 2 stonky řapíkatého celeru nakrájené na kolečka
  • 1 malá plechovka cizrny
  • 400-500ml zeleninového vývaru
  • 1 plechovka krájených rajčat
  • sůl, pepř
Postup: Nejříve si připravíme pastu v hmoždíři z jedné lžíce oleje, chilli papričky, česneku, zázvoru, kurkumy, garam masaly, římského kmínu a kari - všechny suroviny utřeme v hladkou pastu.
V hrnci rozpálíme olej a orestujeme na něm cibuli, poté přidáme mrkev, řapíkaty celer a po chvíli pastu - mícháme, protože by se mohlo vše připálit. V zápětí přidáme čočku, rajčata a zalijeme vývarem, vše necháme asi 8-10 minut povařit. Poté přidáme cizrnu a vaříme dokud není čočka měkká - trvá to celkem asi 15 minut. Na závěr přidáme posekaný koriandr i se stonky. Podáváme s indickým chlebem naan nebo rýží basmati.
